Configuration:
The detecting system of HXMT consists of 18 modules that
contain a slat collimator and a NaI(Ti)/CsI(Na) phoswich
detector each. Every module has a field of view (FOV) of
and
collecting area of 286 cm2. The long axes of the FOVs of the
two neighboring modules differ by . So the overall FOV of
HXMT is about and the total collecting area about 5000 cm2.
